MOVIES: Mrs. Doubtfire - Sequel in the works at Fox 2000

Fox 2000 is ready to have more hot flashes.

The studio is developing a sequel to the 1993 hit Mrs. Doubtfire, which would reunite director Chris Columbus and star Robin Williams.

David Berenbaum, who wrote Elf, is writing the script.

    I hope it's gonna become a trilogy! The advancement of CGI will help it bucketloads. Can we get Michael Bay to direct this please? Been waiting for this sequel all my life! There's good franchiseability here! Spin-off TV series, The Game. Real moneyspinner!

    In all seriousness while this is rather unnecessary, if they can pull it off, I'll be there, love Mrs Doubtfire. If they don't ruin it, I'm in.
