Maggie Q cast as Female Lead in CBS's Kevin Williamson Drama Pilot

Nikita star Maggie Q is staying in the CBS/Warner Bros family with a lead role in CBS‘ untitled Kevin Williamson drama pilot. Maggie Q will play the female lead opposite Dylan McDermott in the project, from Warner Bros TV, the studio behind CW drama Nikita, which wrapped its run earlier this season. Written by Williamson and directed by Liz Friedlander, the psychological thriller revolves around two detectives, Beth (Maggie Q) and Jack (McDermott), who handle stalking incidents for the Threat Assessment Unit of the LAPD. Detective Beth Davis is the opinionated and obsessive, workaholic division captain of LAPD’s Threat Assessment Unit who also narrates the story.

Good Session - Tracey Ullman joins cast

Tracey Ullman (The Tracey Ullman Show) has signed on to CBS’ single-camera comedy pilot Good Session, opposite James Roday and Rich Sommer. Written by John Hamburg and Matt Miller and directed by Hamburg, the project revolves around a happy couple, Joel (Roday) and Lindsay (TBD), who go to a therapist to help them decide if they should have a baby but quickly discover they have more to discuss. Ullman will play Ellen, the astute, straightforward therapist who uses her own brand of insight and humor to inspire the couples she helps to tell the truth.

Feed Me - Ethan Peck, Ed Quinn and Hart Bochner to Co-Star

Ethan Peck (10 Things I Hate About You), Eureka alum Ed Quinn and Hart Bochner (The Starter Wife) will co-star opposite Mary-Louise Parker in NBC’s single-camera comedy pilot Feed Me. The project centers on a dysfunctional family bound by love and the restaurant they run together. The three adult children of restaurant owners Alice and Len Carroll are all struggling with various romantic/sexual/marital crises, all of which seem to come to a head as they gather in a hospital waiting room to support Emma (Parker) as her husband Will (Bochner) recovers from a heart attack suffered during an extra-marital tryst. Peck plays Ned, Emma’s terminally adolescent younger brother, a culinary artist who tries hard to bring some sophistication and modernity to his family’s decades old restaurant, but his menu changes only infuriate his dad. Astronaut Wives Club - Desmond Harrington cast as Alan Shepherd

Desmond Harrington is joining ABC’s new Space Age.

The Dexter alum has landed a series-regular role in ABC’s 10-episode summer series The Astronaut Wives Club, TVLine has learned.

Set during the height of the space race, Wives follows a tight-knit group of women whose husbands are all — you guessed it — astronauts.

Harrington will play real-life astronaut Alan Shepherd (aka the first American in space). He is competitive, steely, and has a wry sense of humor.

Saint Francis - Sharon Gless to Co-Star

Sharon Gless is heading to comedy.

The Burn Notice and Cagney & Lacey star will co-star in ABC's multicamera comedy pilot Saint Francis opposite Michael Imperioli, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

From Man Up's Chris Moynihan, Saint Francis centers on a gruff blue-collar, no-nonsense Long Island cop and family man, Francis (Imperioli), who butts heads with the modern liberal world when his 29-year-old sister gets pregnant out of wedlock. The patriarch of the Quinlan family, Francis is the epitome of old-fashioned values but is willing to do anything for the good of his family.

Gless will play Francis' "pain-in-the-butt" Irish-Catholic mother, Janice, who has taken up permanent residence in his basement and is not pleased about her only daughter's pregnancy. Paget Brewster, Henry Simmons, Spencer Grammer and Jeremy Luke also star.

State Of Affairs - Leslie Odom Jr. joins cast

Leslie Odom Jr. (Smash) has joined the cast of NBC‘s drama pilot State Of Affairs. It stars Katherine Heigl as Charleston Whitney Tucker, a key CIA attaché who counsels the president on high-stakes incidents around the world. Odom plays Mitchell Manning, Chief of Staff to the President of the U.S.

One Big Happy - Rebecca Corry joins cast

Actress-comedian-writer Rebecca Corry has has been cast in NBC‘s multi-camera pilot One Big Happy. Written by Liz Feldman and directed by Scott Ellis, it centers on two platonic friends since childhood — a lesbian, Lizzy (Elisha Cuthbert), and her straight male best friend, Luke (Nick Zano) — who have been living together and trying to have a baby via artificial insemination. They finally get pregnant, just as Luke meets and impulsively marries the love of his life. Corry will play Lizzy’s older sister Leisha, married with an “oops” baby that doesn’t stop her from being a bit of a wild child herself.

Man Seeking Woman - Eric André, Britt Lower and Maya Erskine join as Regulars

Eric André(Two Broke Girls, The Eric André Show), Britt Lower (Unforgettable) and Maya Erskine (Betas) are set as series regulars in FX comedy pilot Man Seeking Woman. Based on Simon Rich’s book, The Last Girlfriend On Earth, Man Seeking Woman is described as a sweet and absurd look at the life-and-death stakes of dating. It centers on Josh Greenberg (Jay Baruchel), a naive romantic on a desperate quest for love. When his longtime girlfriend dumps him, Josh enters the dating scene, a nightmarish hellscape of untold horror. André will play Mike, Josh’s cocky best friend. Lower plays Liz, Josh’s intimidating sister, and Erskine will play Maggie, the ex-girlfriend who broke Josh’s heart.

Identity - Patricia Wetting joins cast

Patricia Wetting will co-star in The CW's terrorism drama Identity, from writer/EP Corinne Brinkerhoff (The Good Wife). The drama centers on a young woman (The Help's Ahna O'Reilly) in need of a transplant who learns she is related to a powerful family whose son (Hellcats' Matt Barr) is her only hope for a donor organ. The CIA approaches her to investigate the family's involvement in domestic terrorism and to infiltrate their rarified world. Her loyalty, morality and ethics are tested as she's forced to slowly build a case against the family who saved her life.

Wetting will play Liana Grant, the matriarch of one of the country's wealthiest and most powerful families, which includes her son Davis (Barr). She joins a cast that also includes Stephen Hagen, Mehcad Brooks and Manish Dayal in the drama from exec producers Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Heather Kadin, Rob Golenberg and Alon Aranya. Gary Fleder directs the pilot.

The Messengers - Craig Frank gets Recurring Role

Craig Frank (Mixology) has signed on for a recurring role in CW pilot The Messengers from writer/co-exec producer Eoghan O’Donnell and exec producer Basil Iwanyk. In it, when a mysterious object crashes down to earth, a group of seemingly unconnected strangers die from the energy pulse, but then awaken to learn that they have been deemed responsible for preventing the impending Apocalypse. Frank will play Alan, the handsome, likeable techie who works with Vera, with whom he shares a romantic past, at the NASA Space Observatory in New Mexico.
