    Everything worked against Reign (no lead in, preemptions, more competition with AI moving at 9pm) and yet it was able to put 0.5. I don't think it's the best thing ever for CW, but it shows the show has a loyal fan base and it's not lead in dependent.

    True. Unfortunately, all those things are true of Grey's, and it's still top 5. Then again, Grey's is a veteran ratings champ. Reign is still a freshman.

    I kinda agree that Reign did not deserve an early. I am not saying that it shouldn't get a second season, but I am just saying that it's ratings aren't "early renewal" worthy.

    The early renewal was my point. Reign has a fair chance but any network exec would've waited to see how Reign does without its lead in.


    Atm. I would've waited to see how TTP performs on mondays and made a final decision between Reign, TTP and Hart of Dixie in the following weeks.


    Renewing this show early on felt en par with not giving other shows a chance
