The Tony winner (for Broadway’s Once) is joining ABC’s military-themed medical pilot as the husband of Morena Baccarin’s character, TVLine has learned.
The one-hour drama, from Party of Five‘s Christopher Keyser, centers on the doctors and nurses at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center who treat returning soldiers.
Kazee will play Clay, husband to Tory (Baccarin) and the father of their daughter Jo. Clay and Tory share a wonderful relationship, and he’s very patient with her need to adjust after she returns from a nine-month tour of Afghanistan. However, Clay knows her well and he understands that there’s something she’s not telling him.
