Rookie Blue - Season 5 - Casting News - Oliver Becker and Matt Murray join cast

Oliver Becker and Matt Murray are joining the Canadian cop drama Rookie Blue, which is shooting a fifth season for ABC and Global Television.

Becker is to play Inspector John Jarvis, who is out to shake things up at 15 Division, while Murray plays yet another rookie cop, Duncan Moore aka Selfie.

    I think they have way too many, rookies and after everything and some promotions why are they still considered "rookies" ? Also Nick/Chole seem underdeveloped they should focus on those rookies.

    Well I haven't read anything but I assume Marlo won't be sticking around after being suspended... Personally I like the idea of a new rookie, the originals are more experienced now and I like the idea of watching a rookie fumble around and find their feet again :)

    To all you saying you don't want any more characters: in a real police station things change ALL THE TIME. There aren't 10 constant people, they come and go. Obviously the show can't illustrate it to that extent because the main characters can't leave, but they're just trying to shake things up and make it realistic.


    Although I agree that the nickname "selfie" is ridiculous. NOT looking forward to that.
