Y?! The show is terrible with these new characters...go back to the original cast and move them to NYC- Leave Lima!
ReplyDeleteCool! New characters.. :) Hopefully, they will be new McKinley students!
ReplyDeleteStop new characters! I want the old characters back!
ReplyDelete...I swear I remember you giving the original cast a lot of crap before the newbies showed up. But now you want them back? I'm really confused. Did the original cast somehow become LESS annoying?
ReplyDeletei never hated the old cast...was i annoyed by some of the storyline absolutely! but who doesnt get annoyed by characters after a while. but these new characters are just wanna be recreations of the old cast and its not working. they need to stop tryna recreate the wheel. they struck gold season one, but it aint working now.
ReplyDeleteThe old characters graduated people! Let them go! Dianna, Amber, and Heather all have different things going on, so why are you "fans" being so rude and not wanting them to spread their wings? Especially Heather with a baby on the way. The show isn't going to just stop because of them. Learn to let go. Hopefully they get to get these kids developed without having to stop and have random pop ins every couple episodes from the old cast. They tried pleasing us in S4 with the old cast. The plan is different this time, and they're not going to alter it for us every time people feel they aren't getting their way. v_v
ReplyDeleteAnd to the person who said "move them to NYC", that would be way too unrealistic. When you graduate, you don't follow each other to the same city.. v_v
I agree. The new cast might not be gold, but the old cast also has its share of annoyances, and should I say, way more than the new kids.
ReplyDeleteBut that has nothing to do with the old or new cast and everything to do with the writing. Personally I like the new cast. They're less insane than the old one.
ReplyDeleteseriously ? Doesn't they have enough work fixing Klaine's and Finchel's issues & original cast's future ? -- but nooo; let's put more guys to mess everything up, I bet that now everybody's happy. Soon there won't be anyone from the original cast o.o
ReplyDeleteWhere do people even audition for these roles?
ReplyDeletei think its a combo of both. the new cast just hasnt intrigued, i dont care for them simple enough. the old cast was annoying but i chose them any day. specially talent wise. OMG i cant hear to hear any of the new cast sing. The Rachel is wack she cant touch Rachels voice...No one can touch Mercedes or Santana either.
ReplyDeleteI guess that these will be more McKinley students, or at least I hope so. Once the group of senior members graduate, the number of glee club members will be pretty low.
ReplyDeleteI hope the actors are good. Maybe I'm the only one, but I absolutely hate Kitty, Ryder and Unique/Wade. Also, Marley is starting to get on my nerves because she's slowly turning into a slightly nicer, less narcissistic, version of Rachel.
ReplyDeleteGlee season 4 was really pathetic for me. Really lost interest in the show. I guess, the need for an overhaul is needed. I really liked Kitty and Ryder of all the new characters, IMO, the rest could go. Not a fan of the writing s4 so I guess this revamping will be a new crop of McKinley New Direction preambles. Another 75% McKinley per episode. I love certain characters and McKinley characters aren't them. So bye, Glee. If season 5 and 6 are anything like 4 was, Glee is really going to derail.
ReplyDeleteAre they doing the Glee Project again this year? I haven't heard anything about it
ReplyDeleteare you 12? The new cast is terribly written
ReplyDeleteNo thank god. It has not produced anyone worth the time.
ReplyDeleteBut Rachel is interesting to watch. And really is Rachel any more narcissistic then most of the characters?
ReplyDeleteNo, she isn't. And yes she is, significantly so.
ReplyDeleteNot totally. These new actors have done little to make their characters interesting. Santana, Birttany and even Sugar without mcuh made something into their characters. These actors have had writing and screen time and are still boring cause they have not stepped up. The writers write the stories the actor have to make them come alive and do something with the character.
ReplyDeleteShe is more interesting then the new characters and please they all have their selfish moments or even big egos.
ReplyDeleteI'll give you that, but no one on the show has a bigger ego then Rachel. Rachel has always ticked me off but her ego got bigger in season 4 and they should knock her off her high horse sometimes.
ReplyDeleteI think Alex Newell is great. The winners? Meh x 3.
ReplyDeleteI really hope all these new characters will be on the cast and crew of Funny Girl.
ReplyDeleteEnd the show at Season 6.
ReplyDeleteGlee cannot possible turn less realistic, you could put all the original cast living in the same NY, rent controlled, apartment building, and even that it would make more sense than 75% of the shows plots
ReplyDeleteI read somewhere that at least 2 of them are 20-something yrs old, so they'll be in the NY side. Which is actually ok IMO. They need to flesh the NY side more to keep it balanced. I'm tired of the Lima side, especially when all my favorites are graduating. I'm done with the HS drama, and there's only so much competition that I can root for them, when win/loose doesn't really I mean anything much anymore, not like those first 2 or 3 seasons. And I get that it's called GLEE so they can't just leave it, but they need to changed it up somehow to make it exciting again. They don't need more characters, they need more fresh storylines that will make me care again. As of this point, I only care for Blaine, Sam, Tina, and a little bit of Artie. Otherwise, I don't really care much about what happens to the others. As for the NY side, I also want more on Kurt and Santana, since they are interesting characters. Rachel is okay, but she doesn't really have much struggle and she's becoming more Lea Michelle, rather than Rachel Berry. People change, I get it, but she totally lost personality last season, or at least did a total 180. It got better the last few episodes, but not enough to salvage my opinion. Also, she got a lot of awards/prestige with minimal effort which is totally unbelievable for a freshman to get. IDK, I guess I just want to see her struggle more so that her acheivements feel more sweeter. Anyway, with more characters in the NY side, it would just make the show more balanced somehow.
ReplyDeleteI gave Glee the benefit of doubt last year, this season it doesn't deserve it.
ReplyDeleteBurn it to the ground.
Ruby is new Mckinley student. Julie and Ryan ( who is a girl) are in their 20's .So probably NYC. Julie sound to be a lot like Brittany, need to be cute and quirky. Ryan is suppose be a character who is able sing and play the guitar. ( Please god let that be Santana's new gf)
ReplyDeleteHaven't heard anything about Henry.

At one will be a McKinley student
ReplyDeleteI hope is about new york, they need to get ride of the lima people and only leave the ones we care
ReplyDeleteSure am. If you subtract 16 years and actually have a point by such a stupid comment.
ReplyDeleteI like the show, so I not have problem to add new characters. Glee is more than just the original cast, if you not understand this, you don't understand the show.
ReplyDeleteI might come back to watch it if this news update was that they hired 4 new writers. Alas, it's a shame - if the show had progressed as it could have, I'd likely be arguing for the point of moving on from old characters at this point though. I couldn't get through season 4 though, so everyone would be somewhat new if I started again (which I don't intend to unless I hear something good about the writing).
ReplyDeleteThey keep getting rid of the original good characters and bringing in boring new characters. Stop it!
ReplyDeleteLeave them alone ur never going to get the old cast back .
ReplyDeleteShut up ur bitter
ReplyDeleteUr absolutely right 150%
ReplyDeleteOh my, let me get some aloe vera to apply to this major burn. Ouch!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you are confusing being bitter with having taste though.
That sir or madam is a terrible idea. That's not how reality works-- despite how unrealistic aspects of the show may seem. People have their own lives and their own goals, you can't just crowd every single one of them back up again it's a ridiculous way to try following all the characters around. We already have Rachel, Kurt and Artie (Maybe Blaine and Tina too) in NY, that alone is a bit shaky.
ReplyDeleteI was pointing at Glee's notorious lack of realism and even continuity while making a jab at the absurd amounts of "rent controlled" apartments in tv shows.
ReplyDeleteMy comedy is very nuanced ;D
Oh god I apologize, it was very late and did not get it. xD
