Thirteen is unlucky for some, but it doesn't seem to be unlucky for Bones, after its 13th episode of the season on Monday night scored season high ratings and audience numbers, with a 2.6 18-49 rating and 9.25 million viewers.
The previous highest rated episode was on November 26 - a 2.4 rating, while the previous episode with the highest audience aired last week, with 8.53 million viewers
Monday's episode also had the highest audience the series has seen since the premiere of last season, (a span of 24 episodes). Last season's premiere aired on November 3, and drew in 10.00 million viewers. No episode since then had earned more than 9 million viewers until Monday's episode
Monday's episode also marks the halfway point for this season of Bones. After 13 of the 26 episode have aired, the show has a season ratings average of 2.15, and a season audience average of 7.69 million viewers. Furthermore, the halfway point of the season marks the end of the second quarter of episodes. The second quarter of 6 episodes averaged a 2.23 rating and 8.14 million viewers, up on the first quarter of 7 episodes ratings average of 2.09 and 7.31 million viewers. Despite the increase, Bones would still be down on the quarter averages of last season, despite last season airing just 13 episodes. You can see the quarters breakdown data on this page
