-Ratings Breakdown:
CBS ruled the Sunday overnight ratings roost, more than tripling the three competing networks combined thanks to the Baltimore Ravens at the New England Patriots on the AFC Championship. The match-up averaged an estimated 28.5 rating/43 share for the primetime portion from 7-10 p.m., which will, no doubt, lead the week. But it was not above the 32.5/47 in the overnights for the New York Giants versus the San Francisco 49ers on Fox on the NFC Championship Game one year earlier.

Airing in the 10 p.m. hour on CBS was a Sunday edition of Hawaii Five-O at a dominant (and also approximate) 9.0/15 in the overnights.

Second-place ABC was below average opposite the football game (as was NBC and Fox) with its line-up of America’s Funniest Home Videos (#2: 3.7/ 6), Once Upon a Time (#2: 4.9/ 7), Revenge (#2: 4.3/ 6) and a Sunday 10 p.m. repeat of Shark Tank (#3: 2.8/ 5).

NBC hid from the AFC Championship with back-to-back two-hour encore episodes of The Biggest Loser (1.3/ 2 from 7-9 p.m.; 1.6/ 3 from 9-11 p.m.). And Fox also traveled the repeat route with its animated line-up of Bob’s Burgers (#3: 2.2/ 4), The Cleveland Show (#3: 1.8/ 3), The Simpsons (#3: 2.5/ 4), the regularly scheduled edition of Bob’s Burgers (#3: 2.0/ 3), Family Guy (#3: 2.3/ 3) and American Dad (#3: 2.2/ 3).
