The Editors Guild Awards, also known as the A.C.E (American Cinema Editors) Eddie Awards (well, they're just known as the ACE Eddies, I chose that title just to be on a par with the Writers Guild Awards thread I just opened), revealed the winners of their annual ceremony last Saturday.

Here they are :


— Best edited one-hour series for commercial TV : Breaking Bad's Face Off (episode 4.13), edited by Skip MacDonald.
— Best edited one-hour series for non-commercial TV : Homeland's Pilot, edited by Jordan Goldman & David Latham.
— Best edited half-hour series : Curb Your Enthusiasm's Palestinian Chicken (episode 8.03), edited by Steven Rasch.
— Best edited miniseries or TV movie : Cinéma Vérité, edited by Sarah Flack & Robert Pulcini.


— Best edited feature film (comedy or musical) : The Artist, edited by Michel Hazanavicius & Anne-Sophie Bion.
— Best edited feature film (dramatic) : The Descendants, edited by Kevin Tent.
— Best edited animated feature film : Rango, edited by Craig Wood.

Were also nominated :

Curb your Enthusiasm's Mister Softee (8.09) and Modern Family's Express Christmas (3.10) for half-hour series.
Boardwalk Empire's To the Lost (episode 2.12) and Game of Thrones' Baelor (episode 1.09) for one-hour series (non-commercial TV).
Breaking Bad's End Times (episode 4.12), Friday Night Lights' Always (episode 5.13), The Good Wife's Real Deal (episode 2.13) and The Walking Dead's Save the Last One (episode 2.03) for one-hour series (commercial TV).
Downton Abbey (Episode 1) and Mildred Pierce (Part I) for TV movie/miniseries.
Hugo, Moneyball, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo and War Horse for dramatic film.
