THE RIVER, Episode #105, "Peaches"
Director: Rob Bailey
Writer: Wendy Battles
Location: Honolulu, HI
Shoot Dates: o/a 9/15 - 9/27

[RUSS LANDRY] Male, Caucasian, Late 40s to Early 50s. One of the last cowboys. Gruff. Adventurous. Weathered. Stoic. Solid. More comfortable behind the camera than in front of it, not the showman that Emmet (Bruce Greenwood) is. The kind of guy you want watching your back. But emotions aren't his forte. He says more in his silence than he does with words. More comfortable around a campfire, than the living room sofa. The father of Lena (Eloise Mumford), he is devoted to his daughter but has sacrificed his life for his adventure on the Amazon as Emmet Cole's cameraman. Guest star. Two episode arc.

[PATRICK] 50s, "Jimmy Buffett with biceps," a bit of a hippie (could have long hair), happy-go-lucky, affable, peaceful, we immediately trust him. Patrick is the leader of a small crew of eco-activists roaming the Amazon on their boat, the Exodus, to take on some of the illegal logging vessels that have been encroaching on the rainforest. Patrick and his three comrades meet up with the injured Magus, promising help and some much-needed outside companionship for the troubled Magus group. Unfortunately, Patrick is not what he seems to be, and his genial bonhomie conceals an other-worldly menace. Guest star. (17)

[ANNABELLE] 30s, Eastern European or Middle Eastern, beautiful, earthy, charming. A bit of a Gypsy, Annabelle is the lone woman on the crew of the Exodus, part of a group of eco-activists roaming the Amazon to take on some of the illegal logging vessels that have been encroaching on the rainforest. As friendly and affable as the rest of the crew, Annabelle bonds with Tess (Leslie Hope), listening with trustworthy sympathy to the story of her lost husband. Like Patrick, Annabelle is not what she seems to be. Guest star. (17)

[SOUP] Male, 18 to 22, Latino, handsome, shy, sweet, charming. Soup is one of the eco-activists aboard the Exodus, the boat which meets up with the Magus on the Amazon and stops to offer the crew help and companionship. Soup is instantly smitten with Jahel (Paulina Gaitan), and tries to get her stop work for a bit and spend time with him. Like Patrick and Annabelle, Soup is not what he seems. Guest star. (17) MUST SPEAK SPANISH

[MALOSI] Male, 30s to 40s, big, tall, imposing--a hefty, gentle giant with a hidden touch of menace. Malosi is part of the crew of eco-activists aboard the Exodus, the ship that meets up with the Magus to offer help and companionship. Like his crewmates, Malosi is not what he seems to be, and privately urges Patrick to get on about their real business aboard the Magus. Guest star. (17)
