Sometimes less is more.This seems to be the case for actress Alyssa Milano after ABC has announced it's cut the order for her upcoming show 'Romantically Challenged' from thirteen to seven episodes. Milano's consolation prize? A guest spot on the hit show 'Castle,' which was recently picked up for a second season.

In the episode 2x12 'A Rose for Everafter,' Milano plays Kyra, an ex-girlfriend of Nathan Fillion's character Richard Castle. Sparks will fly when Kyra and Richard are reunited during Kyra's wedding. Jealousy will ensue on the part of Stana Katic's character and Castle's muse, Detective Kate Beckett. The relationship between Castle and Beckett can be described as hot flirtation, which will be sure to bubble up with the introduction of Kyra.

For her fans, this is just the first dose of Alyssa Milano on ABC. Her latest show 'Romantically Challenged' was originally included in the network's fall lineup but has been re-slated as a mid-season comedy. The show has a love triangle of its own, as it follows the trials and tribulations of Perry Gill a 30-something year old man played by Josh Lawson, who's often caught between his girlfriend played by Milano and his needy best friend played by Kyle Bornheimer. There is speculation that the show may inherit Kelsey Grammer's recently canceled 'Hank' time slot.

'Romantically Challenged' has not yet received a final premiere date. (except Wednesday 8:00 pm ?)
