The Cold Case squad investigates the murder of MIKE DONNELLY, an Army recruiter murdered in 2005...

[MIKE D, IN 2005] 28 years old in 2005, a soldier with a buzz cut, extremely fit, Mike is a recruiter for the United States Army, and he's a very aggressive, upbeat, gung ho "perfect soldier" who has served in Afghanistan and came home with a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Intent on getting the kids of Philadelphia to clean up their act and serve their country, he's found murdered outside a pawnshop, presumably the victim of a mugging. But in fact, Mike's halo was starting to slip in the days before his murder: he learned his wife was cheating on him, and couldn't stand the fact that he was channelling fine young men and women towards their deaths...GUEST STAR (1)

[KIRSTEN D. IN 2005 & 2009] Seen at 24 and 28 years old, pretty, Kirsten is the wife (and later the widow) of Mike Donnelly. Questioned by the detectives four years after her husband's murder, Kirsten appears to be frank in discussing her husband's actions and moods in the days before his death. But she's much less frank about revealing her own behavior, and conceals the fact that she had an affair with Sergeant Major Daniel Gomez right before her husband's violent death...GUEST STAR (1)

[BOBBY "BUMPER" K. IN 2005 & 2009] African-American, seen at 18 and 22 years old, he is a street kid, recruited by Mike to join the Army. After serving two tours of duty overseas as an Army Specialist, Bobby returns home to find Mike dead, accused of robbing a pawnshop in the hours before his death. Convinced that Mike was a totally straight arrow who would never commit a crime, Bobby asks the Cold Case squad to re-open the case. But Bobby has concealed his own level of involvement in criminal activity, and in fact bumped heads with Mike Donnelly at one point -- a big enough bump that he may have needed to settle their feud in blood...GUEST STAR (1)

[SERGEANT MAJOR DANIEL G. IN 2005 & 2009] In his early 40s, Latino, he is another Army recruiter in Philadelphia, and he worked alongside the late Mike Donnelly in 2005. Apparently a disinterested witness who can coolly evaluate Mike's character, Gomez in fact has a massive secret he's concealing: in violation of an unwritten code of the military, he slept with Mike's wife Kirsten, and his concealment makes the detectives think he's concealing a murder as well...GUEST STAR (8)

[VICTORIA M. IN 2005 & 2009] Latina, seen at 17 and 21 years old, she is an inner-city, punked-out kid with thick eyeliner and a lot of personal problems, recruited by Mike to join the Army and get away from her volatile homelife and her criminal companions on the street. Four years later, she's a squared-away Army Corporal who credits Mike Donnelly with saving her life. But Victoria is hiding a very basic fact about her relationship with Mike: she's his murderer. When she took part in a pawnshop robbery and Mike insisted she confess and serve the time, Victoria opted instead to kill Mike and hide out in plain sight: in Iraq...GUEST STAR (12)

[JERRY H. IN 2005 & 2009] In his 40s, Jerry is a tough, aggressive dad, the father of David Harkin. In 2005, he's very angry with Mike Donnelly, because Mike has been too persistent in pressuring his son to join the Army. Four years later, questioned by the police as a suspect in Mike's murder, Jerry is still mourning for David, who died overseas, and he insists that the memory of Mike Donnelly is a source of consolation to him...GUEST STAR (16)

[TREY "MEATHEAD" N. IN 2005 & 2009] African-American, seen at 17 and 21 years old, Trey is a kid on the borderline in 2005, possibly destined to become a fit, useful soldier -- but possibly destined to become a career criminal. Four years after Mike Donnelly's death, Trey has clearly taken the wrong path somewhere along the line, and is now in the penitentiary. Questioned by the detectives about the pawnshop robbery that led to Mike Donnelly's death, Trey is careful to point the cops in another direction: street thug Bobby Kearns...GUEST STAR (23)

[CELESTE C.] In her early 50s, blonde and preppy, she's the mother of Finn Cooper, and she's the family peacemaker. In spite of her husband's evident irritation that Lilly Rush is dating her son Finn, Celeste goes to great lengths to make Rush feel welcome within their family -- but she's just a little peeved that Rush has stood them up for dinner on four separate occasions. She drives home the fact that Rush needs to treat the Coopers as her extended family, and vice versa...GUEST STAR (30) POSSIBLE RECURRING ROLE. PROTOTYPE: BLYTHE DANNER.

[DAVID H. IN 2005] 18 years old, a straight-A track star, David is one of Mike Donnelly's devoted followers, and he assists Mike in recruiting at his high school.sptv050769.CO-STAR

[MRS. H IN 2005] In her 40s, Jerry's wife and David's mother, she is consoled at her son's funeral by the kind words of Mike Donnelly...CO-STAR

[ETHAN H IN 2005] 10 years old, the younger brother of David Harkin, he's taken aside by Mike Donnelly, for a heart-to-heart talk at his brother's memorial service...CO-STAR. no lines, 1 scene (21)

[CREEP IN 2005] 18-19 years old, this menacing gangbanger tries to pressure Mike Donnelly into leaving Trey alone, because he's already been recruited (for life) by the Six Street Mafia...CO-STAR
