In this deleted scene Susan flashbacks to the night of the crash when she confides the truth about it to Dave when he asks if Mike was driving the car in this tragic night in the end of episode 5.20 "Rose's Turn".
I definitely think that they should keep this flashback in this episode, because thanks to this flashback the scene when Susan tells Dave the truth would be even more dramatic and terrifying.
