Yesterday I made a post on my blog named Better Off Ted - the best comedy you've never heard of. Yesterday also was the season finale of BOT and it did not disappoint. There were 2 episodes, since episode 12 was preempted 2 weeks ago for the Bachelorette finale repeat, so we got double the fun this week.

This episode deviated from the normal formula and started in medias res showing Ted and Veronica about to give a presentation Ted really doesn't want to do. Then Ted goes back to show us how he got there. Phil and Lem have created an indestructible plate, but it is too heavy so Ted scraps it. Linda tells Ted she saw a Veridian Dynamics commercial about greening the buildings, and she wants to make a roof garden. Ted talks to Veronica and she says the company is lying about going green, but Ted does tells her to make one anyways. He allocates funds for her drawing the suspicion of Veronica, and Ted, in panic, tells her its for the revolutionary Jabberwocky project. Of course there is no such program, but Veronica doesn't want to seem out of the loop, so she pretends to understand.

She talks to one of the higherups and the same thing happens, he has no clue what it is, but pretends to know. The situation spirals out of control. Everyone in the whole building is talking about Jabberwocky, but no one knows what it is. It is suppose to be a new way of doing business and everyone who isn't of the program is behind in some way. Ted finally tells Veronica, but not before a presentation is scheduled in a few hours for the unveiling of Jabberwocky.

Their presentation is essentially more of the same hype without substance. Ted and Veronica use a lot of flashy words in pictures in there presentations along with a little dance, and don't show any product or service. In the end, the audience pretends to know what Jabberwocky to seem in the loop. The one good thing that comes out of the silliness is Linda's roof garden. Along with the help of Phil and Lem, she gets a sustainable roof garden with fireflowers and firesquirrels (it actually committed suicide later). The end of the episode is hilarious with Veridian Dynamics shipping Jabberwocky to Japan where the scientists also pretend to know what it is.

It was great to look at the psychology in the business and having to stay on top of new innovations. There wasn't one person who actually asked what it was, in fear of looking weak. Storywiese, I think this was the strongest episode in a while and the jokes were still top-notch. I'm really glad there will be 13 more episodes.

    Score: 9.7/10
