STORY LINE
Brenda is forced to work with her Texas counterpart, Detective Curt Landry, while investigating a serial killer who has murdered 14 women in Texas before killing two more in Los Angeles. They have a battle of wills over jurisdiction and investigating techniques and Brenda has obviously met her match.

[DETECTIVE CURT LANDRY] (48-62) A brilliant police detective from Texas. Smart. Savvy. Experienced. He is determined to arrest a serial killer who has murdered 16 women and is used to calling the shots - until he is forced to work with Brenda. GUEST LEAD.

[JESSE RAY MOORE] (30s) A car hauler driver from Texas who is the serial killer. Working class, uneducated but smart. There is a deadness in his eyes. He is sexually dysfunctional and suffers from an inferiority complex. He wears a mask and a black ninja outfit when he kills so that he feels more formidable. He is less impressive than expected and has unprepossessing quality. GUEST STAR.

[JEFF WEBB] (mid 30s - 40) An analyst for a consulting firm who lives in L.A. but is from Texas. Attractive, smart, self-centered and a fitness fanatic. He is also a car nut. When his car is linked to one of the murders, he becomes a major suspect. He also has a history of abusing women and his wife has taken out a restraining order. GUEST STAR.

[ROB PRICE] (30s) Attractive. Unemployed and at end of his rope. Desperate. When his wife is murdered he is in shock but also a suspect. GUEST STAR.

[LISA PRICE] (late 20s) Attractive. Bubbly. Vivacious. She is lounging in her pool, chatting on the phone when the serial killer strikes. ONE-DAY GUEST STAR.
