    Parenthood: A contemporary re-imagining of the blockbuster film, depicting the Braverman family -- four grown siblings sharing the headaches, heartaches and joy of being parents.     Trauma: Peter Berg (Friday Night Lights) executive produces "Trauma", a medical drama series that follows first-responder paramedics in the San Francisco Bay area.     Mercy: A new medical drama with a unique point of view, portrays the lives of the staff at Mercy Hospital as seen through the eyes of those who know it best -- its nurses.     Mercy looks good because there is Michelle Trachtenberg. Although I wish that she would just become a regular cast member on Gossip girl! Gotta love Georgina!

    That Parenthood series is an old idea. It died maybe 10 years ago. Considering the shows that are on the bubble/cancelled, this is truly
    depressing.

    As someone who is proud to call the Bay area home, and who has enjoyed San Francisco on the big and small ascreen fro mDirty Harry to Streets Of San Francisco to Nash Bridges, I looked forward to tonight's premier of "Trauma"...I lasted 35 minutes...What  piece of unoriginal carbon copy seen this done this been there done that krap!  No wonder NBC's getting their corporate ass kicked in the neilson's....of courzse, these are the same giants who moved a mediocxre late night talent into primetime...so I guess we can't expect much, can we?
