WHERE IS DOUGH AND CAROL? THERE ARE THE ONLY ONES MISSING IN THE GROUP OF THE SEASON 1 CAST (WELL MARK TOO BUT HE'S DEAD)
Weren't Dogu and Carol supposed to be in this episode too???
The title should be 15.22 , not 5.22 .
Huh?!? Why would you expect Doug & Carol to be in this one too?!? They've already done their farewell ep 3 weeks ago and that was that. Not to mention that it would make very little sense, character wise, for them to travel from Seattle to Chicago just so they can attend the opening gala of the Carter clinic-- Esp. when you know they haven't stayed in touch with Carter for a decade and were not even THAT close to him while at County ( Doug even slept with one of Carter's girlfriends back in the day ). Now maaaaybe there is a remote chance that they shot a small extra scene while shooting ep 15.19 to be included in this Finale where we'd see Doug & Carol at home with their kids in Seattle, but I wouldn't even hold my breath for that.

Weaver lives in Florida and she traveled to Chicago to attend Carter's Medical Center inaguration so there's no reason to think Dough and Carol won't attend. According to IMDb.com George Clooney and Julianna Margulies are going to appear in the series finale, see for yourself.

Would love nothing more than to be proved wrong about Ross & Hathaway returning again ( well, unless their new cameo is cheesy ), so we'll see what happens on Thursday. And more power to you & to NBC ( for keeping it secret ) if you're right! However I'll still state that it makes more sense for Weaver to show up than for Doug & Carol... who sort of ran as far & away from their lives in Chicago as they could and never looked back since. Plus, Weaver was still working with Carter 4 years ago. Ross however didn't even show up for Greene's funeral ( which did make sense given Ross' personality. And I always assumed he visited Mark in Hawai before his death even though we never got to see it ). Finally I can't help thinking that Laura Innes is probably easier to book than George Clooney or the always reluctant to be back Margulies... Again, we'll see on Thursday! :)
