[MARK BENFORD] A fit, intense and driven man in his 30s, he's an FBI agent who has recently become sober after a long struggle with the bottle. Mark is currently patching up his home life with his wife, Olivia, a doctor who has stuck by Mark through the rough times. While pursuing a gang of suspected terrorists, Mark and his partner, Dominic, both pass out at the same time and awaken, just over two minutes later, to a scene of unspeakable carnage on the freeway. It seems everyone on the freeway -- and indeed, everyone in the world -- became simultaneously unconscious, resulting in massive loss of life and escalating catastrophe. Even more strange, everyone shared a vision of what they were doing at an exact date and time some five months into the future.
