Checking in with the Gang from "Chuck"'
10 December 2007
While last week's episode of Chuck was the last one we'll be seeing for now, there are two more completed episodes in the can (the cast wrapped this past week), but it's anybody's guess as to when we'll be seeing these comedic gems. (My thoughts: it's February sweeps.) What we do know is that the next episode--whenever it does air--will reveal a hell of a lot about Casey's backstory and possibly reveal why he's so against on-the-job romances. Lest you think that the sadly destroyed Crown Vic was Casey's one true love, rest assured there is "a fleshy one," says Adam Baldwin. Hmmm.

The Evolution of 'Chuck'
10 December 2007
Even with the writers' strike on going, Chuck has a few more episodes left before the well runs dry. NBC picked up the series for the entire season, so even if the strike continues on for the duration of Winter and Spring, fans can look forward to Chuck evolving more and more once it returns.

"Hanging out with the cast of NBC’s Chuck: Part Two"'
13 December 2007
Adam Baldwin joins us. He is very funny and doesn’t miss a beat when we put our recorders on the table and go into interview mode. Because there were four of us asking questions, the conversation kind of jumped around a lot and because it was noisy in the room my recorder didn’t always pick up every question or comment from the people who weren’t me or Adam so instead of trying to fill in the blanks from memory I am just going to switch to bullet points.
* Adam promises that we will get some back story on Casey after the hiatus. (They have two more episodes shot and they will air in January.)
* We’ll get to see more of Jeff and Lester.

"Catching Up With the Chuck Cast"'
21 December 2007
It was a Sunday in early December as this photo shoot took place, and this would be the last time the Chuck actors would see each other for awhile – not only were the holidays approaching, but production had just wrapped the week before on the initial 13 episodes of the series shot before the writers strike forced them to shut down.(...)
The last episode of Chuck saw Baldwin's character Casey told it was almost time to kill Chuck. Asked what would happen next and if Chuck was in real danger, Baldwin couldn't resist joking "The show's called Chuck so… hmm!" He did say though that what will be interesting is seeing how and why Chuck can survive the situation, and as for Casey "Does he defy orders?" Baldwin added that when it came to learning more about his character "I'm looking forward to seeing how they flesh all that out. You're going to see a little bit of his back-story in the next episode," referencing the first of two unaired episodes Chuck still has, which are as yet unscheduled. Baldwin said that the revelations about Casey "explains why he's such a hard case" and that in addition "You'll see some further explanation of Chuck and Sarah's dynamic there with the Bryce triangle." A recent episode showed Casey's adoration for his now destroyed car, but when it comes to a love interest, Baldwin said he's fairly certain "They'll be a fleshy one" down the line.
