I had a chance to visit the set of the new Knight Rider today and was able to grab a few pics to share with you all. Here are some of the details from my blog.
I was able to get to the set, but most of what I could see was just crew setup around a very large house that has a huge yard and that they seemed to be filming indoors. I spoke to one of the crew members who was really nice and they let me walk on to the set in between shoots.
The crew member explained to me that they were filming scenes in the garage of the house and it was set up as a lab with the old KITT that was totaled and being rebuilt. Luckily I was able to sneak a quick peek and grab a few pics. The lab was setup with car parts every where and a black Pontiac (original KITT) that looked like it was getting repaired.
Rumor is that the new KITT will be a Mustang.
As far as cast members the only person I recognized was Bruce Davison the person who played Senator Kelly in the X-Men movies.
Supposedly The Hof was there earlier or was supposed to make it at some time later today. Unfortunately the new KITT car was not scheduled to be on set until tomorrow.

I wonder if this series will make reference to "Team Knight Rider", the syndicated television spin-off series that aired in '97/'98.
